Homecoming adds the Heartland Trophy to Iowa’s October finish.

Wisconsin is Iowa’s next home opponent, visiting Kinnick Stadium on Saturday, October 31. Iowa’s official schedule labels the date Homecoming, a Black Out and the Heartland Trophy Game. It follows the October 24 trip to Minnesota, giving Iowa consecutive conference dates with a change from the road to its own stadium.

Kickoff and television remain TBD on the university’s schedule. A Homecoming designation is not a broadcast-time announcement. Fans planning the day should use the official listing when the time is finalized; this guide does not turn an unannounced window into a fixed start.

Before that home date, Iowa has to resolve the Minnesota week’s personnel questions. Lester said at the bye-week news conference that both Hank Brown and Jeremy Hecklinski could contribute in the second half of the season. His comments did not establish which quarterback will start either upcoming game. The player-performance cards therefore cover named players with a confirmed-nonparticipation rule.

The Wisconsin game gets its own team and player cards. Minnesota statistics will not carry over, and the October 31 result will not settle an October 24 prediction. That separation keeps the football question clear: how Iowa performs against Wisconsin at Kinnick, rather than how it performs across a loosely defined two-game stretch.
